Product description

Beta gal mRNA (N1-Me-Pseudo UTP) enables the expression of beta-galactosidase (β-gal) in
cells after transfection. β-galactosidase is the protein product of the LacZ gene from Lactobacillus, capable of catalyzing the conversion of β-galactoside into monosaccharides. In molecular biology, β-gal is commonly used as a marker gene to assess transfection efficiency. This product can serve as a positive control for mRNA transfection, and further be used for screening and validation of delivery formulations or expression systems.

This mRNA features following structure: 

  • Cap 1 (N7-methylguanosine Cap) with high capping efficiency 
  • Poly(A) tail with 100 consecutive A 
  • 5’ and 3’ UTR with proven efficient translation 
  • ORF with codon optimization
  • N1-methyl-pseudouridine modification
