Product description

Cy5 EGFP mRNA (N1-Me-Pseudo UTP) emits bright, orange fluorescence upon excitation at 650 nm, and is also capable of expressing enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) within cells, or in vivo. Cy5 fluorescence tracks the location of mRNA while green fluorescence from EGFP demonstrates successful translation. It can be used for screening lipid nanoparticle formulations or other delivery systems.

This mRNA features following structure: 

  • Cap 1 (N7-methylguanosine Cap) with high capping efficiency 
  • Poly(A) tail with 100 consecutive A 
  • 5’ and 3’ UTR with proven efficient translation 
  • ORF with codon optimization
  • N1-methyl-pseudouridine and Cy5-uridine modification
