Product description

EGFP circular RNA is capable of expressing enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) within cells following transfection. EGFP was originally extracted from the jellyfish (Aequorea Victoria), and is a commonly used reporter gene for direct detection in mammalian cell culture. It produces bright green fluorescence (at a wavelength of 509 nm). This product can serve as a positive control for mRNA transfection, and further be used for screening and validation of delivery formulations or expression systems.

This circular RNA features following structure: 

  • IRES region for translation initiation 
  • Poly(A) tail
  • 5’ and 3’ UTR with proven efficient translation 
  • ORF with codon optimization
