Product description

Fluc mRNA-LNP is a lipid nanoparticle (LNP) containing firefly luciferase (FLuc) mRNA. LNP can facilitate transfection of encapsulated mRNA in cells or expression in vivo. After transfection in vitro or endosomal escape in vivo, mRNA can be released and translated into luciferase protein. This product is suitable for research of RNA delivery, translation efficiency, cell viability, etc.

In vitro expression

FLuc mRNA was transfected with lipofectamine. FLuc mRNA-LNP (SM102 formulation) was transfected directly in transfection media (TM). Luciferase assay substrate was added after 24 h post transfection. Luminescence was measured by microplate reader. Reported RLUs are the average values of duplicate samples.

In vivo expression

Fluc mRNA expression in mice measured by in vivo imaging at 6 h, 12 h, and 48 h after injection of FLuc mRNA-LNP.
